PANDEMIC CHEESEBROTHER PRESENTS:
ORDER LEPIDOPTERA!
(The spoken word poem from "Pandemic Cheeseburger: The Experience")
Fly. Fly-Fly: Butter! (repeats throughout entire monologue)
"Order Lepidoptera"
I'm inherently volatile like any common moth,
Fluttering on the wind,
Tenderly caught in your sparkly Butterfly net,
I verbalize my objections to being enthralled,
I; winged creature of the light,
You; caliginous Caterpillar from a wasp!
Lustfully given luminous pushpins for my wings,
Just another specimen to vivisect,
MALE ROBOT VOICE: I'd love some time alone with you!
Your eyes like eruptions of gunpowder across a dark sky
You thundering while my tears welled us in a hundred year flood of rage!
Crafty in your seductions,
ROBOT: Oh YEAH! (echoes)
Odious engine.
Maestro of preterition,
Preaching that moths can never Butter-
FLY.
FLY-FLY!
Fleshy fetters have been lifted-
Rubber checks have been cashed-
I'll fly free-
with the Kaleidoscope at last!
